There may be too many game subscription services out there now, but this is good news for gift shoppers who have gamers on their list.

Nintendo Switch Online ($20 per year) is a must-have for online gaming and cloud gaming. It also provides access to classic NES and SNES games. If you choose the expansion pack, you will pay $50 Dollars for a year but this adds N64 and Sega Genesis games and DLC for Animal Crossing.
The Google Play Pass for Android smartphones costs $5 per month or $30 per year and provides access to a library of ad-free games and apps for Android smartphones and tablets. You cannot specifically purchase the subscription give away, but you can send a Google Play gift code for someone to spend on Play Pass.
Apple Arcade boasts for iPhone and iPad, also costs $5 per month and offers more than 200 games for iPhone or iPad, some of which are excellent and $5 per month or $50 per year cost. Again, there's no specific gift option, but an Apple Gift Card can pay for an Apple Arcade subscription.
