Oppo Enco Free: The AirPods copy that does everything right

In the flood of wireless headphones, Oppo presents his first true wireless model.It looks like the old Airpods, but it is better.
The latest and first True Wireless headphones from Oppo look like the AirPods from Apple in Schwarz or the Freebuds 3 from Huawei.Or a lot of other no-name air pods copies.

Im Gegensatz zu Huawei setzt Oppo bei den eigenen Earbuds aber auf Aufsätze mit verschiedenen Grössen - damit handelt es sich um In-Ear-headphones.They make up a lot: thanks to them, the listener sits much better in the ear and seals better, which benefits the music quality.
Sits well in the ear
With buds there is always a risk that they do not fit in the ear.Oppo reduces this risk with the essays in three sizes.

Control: Finally one that works perfectly

The sound that fell
At the very beginning I had the feeling that the Enco Free sounds a bit dull.In the meantime I like the sound very much. Die Ohrhörer sind gut abgestimmt - für einen headphones, der eher günstig ist, finde ich das bemerkenswert. Denn viele der neuen headphones haben in meinen Ohren zu viel Bass.The mids go under.It is different with the Enco Free: he also has a lot of bass, but that is not at the expense of the middle.
In addition, the Encos have a nice depth effect, they sound larger for me than they actually are.I also like the heights. Ich mag warm klingende headphones.The Enco Free hits my taste very well.

I didn't like the sound with the Freebuds 3 of Huawei;The bass was too strong for me.I think that Oppo does not overemphasize the bass.

Missing: active noise canceling
In some reviews it says that the Oppo Enco Free has an active noise canceling.That is wrong.Only when making calls is your voice filtered out using software.When listening to music, noises are not actively suppressed.
Thanks to the essays, the Oppo Enco Frees have a passive noise canceling.For me, the use is also okay in loud places like on the train.Because the sound is powerful, I can hide noise well.Only in our loud large space office do I lack the noise suppression.But that is never enough for the small in-ear models to get to my noise colleagues anyway.
Telephoning: works
According to the specifications, OPPO uses a so -called “Ai Uplink Noise Cancelling” to make calls.The voice should be separated from the noise more clearly.Oppo does not indicate how exactly that works.
I tried the telephone function several times on the full train and annoyed all commuters with my private talks.My colleagues always understood me well despite background noise.I had no dropouts on the phone. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich für einen True-Wireless-headphones.There are some models that are completely unusable to have a normal phone call.Oppo did it to align the microphones on the earphones so that the voice is captured well.
Connection almost perfect
Send the Encos with the AAC-Bluetooth codec.This is the standard of the iOS devices, but most newer Android phones can also be switched to this codec.The earphone does not dominate aptx. Compared to the Freebuds 3 of Huawei, the Encos do better: The Freebuds have a specified term of only 4 hours, which was always undercut in the test and was therefore too scarce for me.
Conclusion: everything it needs
Obwohl die Enco Frees so günstig sind, haben sie für mich alles, was ein guter headphones braucht; guten Sound, sie sind bequem in den Ohren, die Verbindung ist stabil, telefonieren klappt gut und der Akku hält genug lange.
The only thing you can accuse Oppos Airpod copy. Da dies bei Buds aber vielfach sowieso nur ungenügend funktioniert - Huawei hat’s bewiesen - kann ich auf diese Funktion bei den Enco Frees gut verzichten.
Mit diesem True-Wireless-headphones hat Oppo alles richtig gemacht.
