Sure, here are the points I couldn't figure out. First of all: I tried to work with it for half a day and found these stumbling blocks that I couldn't solve quickly. I'm a code dummy and I like KISS (Keep it short and simple). According to the support, they could have provided solutions/reasons for this, but they probably read from my mail that I'd rather have the money back, if possible. And that's what happened - thumbs up for this goodwill. I don't want to judge Sparkle and I think that most of the "Issues" can be solved. 1. The footer was not placed at the bottom of all pages as I would have expected ("Pin to bottom of page"). For example, in the data protection declaration, which I inserted as an html section from a generator, they ended up in the middle of the text. 2. The cookie banner only appears on the privacy policy website. There are two additional buttons, completely separate from the cookie banner, called "Deny" and "Remove", which can also only be found on the privacy page. In my view, this makes no sense. What do the three buttons in three different elements do? Is it also possible to get them sorted as a pop-up on the start page? I just thought it was funny.3. I tried changing the navigation structure (I just wanted to link to a blog page that collects the blog articles rather than linking to each individual post from the menu). The result was that the content of the two blog posts was gone. This has happened twice. Cause unknown.4. It was sometimes not possible to place a text flow image in a blog post. Later, when I created a new blog post after the old one disappeared, it was possible. 5. Either the whole post or just the headline with or without a picture appears on the collection page for blog entries. I could not create a text start using a dividing line. To do this, you first have to open another text box, which is a bit cumbersome. 6. How does Sparkle deal with a growing number of blog posts? They appear on the left in the page list, which becomes confusing as the number of posts and subpages increases. I also haven't found a way to change the display, for example in list form, or to sort by date/content. 7. "Normal" picture galleries in grid form do not exist. You can build them manually, but then it gets funny when the order doesn't fit, or an image needs to be added or removed somewhere in the middle. Personally, I didn't like the gallery with the horizontal slider. In addition, you cannot navigate within the lightbox with arrow keys, but have to click on each photo individually and enlarge it. 8. I couldn't figure out how to adjust it for different screen sizes and mobile devices. Some of the fields were grayed out, and where it worked, the choice between automatic and manual adjustment confused me. I think at least half of the errors have a reason or are due to my ignorance. For me, maybe Sparkle is just the wrong tool or I think differently than the programmers. I don't mean to badmouth the software.
